On April 1, the Zabaikalsky District Court sentenced Budaev D. (name unknown) to five days of arrest under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization or holding of a public event without notification). This is reported by the portal "Zabmedia". The man has already served his sentence.
According to the materials of the court, from March 27 to March 30, Budaev “took active steps to preliminary agitate truck drivers, stopping them near the Zabaikalsk checkpoint, demanding to take part in a public event.” He also posted on the Internet an appeal to drivers with a call to participate in the action.
The release of the court reports that heavy vehicles with posters “No to Plato”, “I am standing, and you?” were parked near the Svetlana cafe on the Chita-Zabaikalsk highway.
Truckers and carriers across the country continue their “passive” strike against the Platon system. The campaign started on March 27th. Before the start of the strike, the organizers were detained in different cities under various pretexts.
