In 2017, 414.8 million rubles will be allocated in 2017 for the overhaul of the Kostroma Avtopeshteskaya Bridge. On April 18, at a meeting of the Duma commission on economics and finance, citing the recently adopted order of the Government of the Russian Federation, Ilya Smirnov, deputy head of the Kostroma administration, stated.
As the official explained, it will be necessary to add co -financing of 5 %to the federal component. It is assumed that from the regional and municipal budgets for these purposes will be directed about 10.5 million rubles.
According to Ilya Smirnov, the main work should be done this year, it is planned to complete the repair in 2018.
As the head of Kostroma, Yuri Zhurin , commented on the 7x7 correspondent, restrictions on traffic will be introduced during the repair on the bridge, but they will mostly affect transit transport. It will help optimize traffic flows and a reverse traffic system installed on the bridge in 2015.
In January, the Kostroma administration said that the project of overhaul of the bridge across the Volga passed a state examination: this is the repair of spans and supports, the reconstruction of the contact network of the trolleybus line and street lighting. The total cost of all work was estimated at 690.4 million rubles.
The last time the Kostroma bridge was repaired in the summer of 2013, but then the work extended to the road surface and did not affect the supporting structures.
The issue of construction in Kostroma of the Second Avtopeshteskaya Bridge through the Volga remains unresolved. The current bridge, built in 1970, can no longer cope with the annually increasing traffic flow, which is why car traffic jams periodically occur at the entrances to it.
Under the former governor, Igor Slyunyaev in February 2012, a laying stone was solemnly installed in the construction of a new bridge across the Volga near the village of Serednyaya. In June 2013, the City Manager of Kostroma Viktor Emets announced the collection of signatures in support of the construction of the second bridge on the website of the Russian Public Initiative Roi.ru. However, this initiative did not gain one hundred thousand votes necessary for the consideration of the State Duma.
In August 2015, the regional governor Sergei Sitnikov proposed building a second bridge on the principles of public-private partnerships. Soon, the governor’s press service reported that two large Chinese companies became interested in the construction project in Kostroma at the second bridge: Sani Havi Indust and Sandun high-speed roads. However, today this topic has not received any development.
