Yandex launched a service for project management and its own analogue of Slack

Yandex has launched a service for corporate communication, Yandex.Connect, which integrates many old Yandex products - for example, Disk, Mail and Calendar - as well as the new mobile messenger Yamb. This is reported on the company's website.

At launch, the service offers a “migration” from Yandex’s earlier offering, “Mail for Domains.” According to the company's statement, in the near future they intend to enable the ability to switch to Connect from other platforms.

Part of the service will be the Yamb mobile application, a secure corporate messenger with the function of sending files, integrated with the company’s general address book. Yamb is available to users of Android and iOS devices .

Connect user data will be stored on Yandex servers located in Russia. The service also has the ability to enable two-factor verification and data encryption within Yandex.Disk.

Yandex.Connect has two connection tariffs - free “Basic” (with advertising, a limited number of users and 10 GB of cloud storage) and “Premium” (without advertising, an unlimited number of users, 100 GB of storage), costing 190 rubles per user.

At the launch of the service, only the basic tariff is available. The company did not specify the launch date of the premium tariff.

The fact that Yandex is developing its own platform for corporate communication became known on December 1, 2016. Then the company called Connect a new version of Mail for Domains, but refused to disclose any details other than the presence of a separate application for smartphones and integration with other cloud services.
