How many people came to meetings?

Medusa talked with residents of one and a half dozen districts of Moscow - they all noted that there were more residents who came to meetings than places in the premises allocated for this. “I never saw so many people to go to the council. Moreover, the administrations themselves did not see this. Our representatives of the council literally pressed into the corner on the stage; There was amazement on their faces, ”said Lyudmila Ivanova, a resident of the Savelovsky district, and one of the Muscovites Against Demopers community on Facebook (consists of 10 thousand people). The meeting in the council of its district took place in the hall for 200 people. “About 100 more stood in the aisles,” Ivanova said. Most of the residents surveyed told Medusa about hundreds of the audience. According to Nick Afanasyeva from Khamovnikov, more than 400 people came to the meeting. Not in all areas of residents, they warned in advance about meetings. So, according to a resident of the Academic District Levon Smirnov, the announcements appeared only after his oral complaint to the Moscow government. A resident of the Nagorny district Olga (she asked not to name the name) wrote “Medusa”: “There was no information about the meeting anywhere! Everyone found out by word of mouth. ” In the Savelovsky district, the meeting was transferred from one room to another just an hour before the start - without warning.

How did the meetings go?

Judging by the reviews of residents of different areas, most of the meetings took place in a tense atmosphere. More than half of the Medusa interlocutors noted that managers were not heard due to a large number of participants. For example, a resident of the Sokolniki district and the photo editor of Medusa Alexander Gorokhov noted that “almost deaf” during the meeting (it took place ).

Due to the large number of participants in the meetings in certain areas, they were held first for one half of the audience, then for the other. In many administrations, people demanded from officials to hold a meeting on the street, but in most cases they were refused. “Nobody left the administration, although people crowded on the stairs and sites from the first to the fifth floor of the school [where the meeting took place]. There were also a lot of people outside the building. Many were disappointed and left, ”Svetlana Levanova from the Kuntsevo district told Medusa. Many interlocutors of Medusa noted that the heads of the districts “read according to the training manual” (for example, in Moskvorech-Saburovo) or “on a piece of paper” (Fili-Davydkovo), “confused and stabbed” (Krasnoselsky district). Some heads of administrations, according to residents, actively campaigned for renovation. Many of the Moscow residents surveyed by Medusa noted that the head of the administration did not tell them anything specific - simply because the bill on renovation was not yet adopted in the first reading, this happened only on April 20.

In Khamovniki, right at the meeting, it was announced that the district was expelled from the housing demolition program. However, according to a resident of Khamovnikov, Nika Afanasyeva, this is a temporary decision: “Perhaps we will not enter the first lists, but what awaits us next is incomprehensible. The decision of the prefecture against federal law - forces are unequal. It is important that not only the inhabitants of five -story buildings are closely opposed to the law, since it concerns everyone. ”

How many inhabitants are against renovation?

Judging by the Medusa survey and reviews on social networks are the majority. They are not satisfied that, according to the bill, their property will be replaced with equivalent. Many are simply accustomed to their area. “I have a brick and very strong house, with indigenous residents who do not want to move anywhere. I was born here, I look at the windows and see the trees that my ancestors planted - before this five -story building there was a wooden house where my grandmother lived, ”Alisa Tsvetkova from the Sokol region told Medusa.

“I am a disabled person and I can’t move to another area, otherwise I won’t get to work. It will even be difficult for me to physically move, not only to equip life in a new place. In addition, the migrants will be given the worst options, ”wrote Medusa Sergey Baranov from Marfino.

Almost all the residents surveyed by Medusa expressed claims to the “Active Citizen” application, through which the Moscow City Hall plans to vote on the demolition of individual houses - that the program is not protected from “wrappers”, in particular, the Fund for the fight against the corruption of Alexei Navalny reported .

How do opponents of renovation intend to deal with relocation?

Most residents of the city surveyed by Medusa noted that they are going to act with the help of bureaucratic instruments. As an example, they cited already passed promotions to submit letters to the foster Mosgordums and State Duma - the latter passed on April 18, according to the Medusa correspondent, at least 150 people took part in it (while many submitted not only personal, but also collective letters on behalf of the residents of the house).

Some interlocutors noted that they are not going to participate in street actions. “We do not want to go to provocations,” Asya Kudryavtseva, a resident of the Lomonosov district, explained her position. Other residents intend to protest "in all possible ways." “From official letters and appeals, agitation and propaganda to ships. We will try to somehow influence the situation through participation in rallies, pickets and any mass shares, ”Medusa said Marina Remezova from the Savelovsky district.

Judging by the publications in the Muscovites Against Demolishing group on Facebook, opponents of renovation intend to join the protest action on April 29, which is going to hold Open Russia Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

But there are residents who advocate renovation?
