Both fires (the first - on the night of April 15, the second - on the night of April 16), according to experts, did their job: the burned transport is not subject to restoration. Whose cars flashed - the St. Petersburg truckers have not yet been able to find out.
“We only know for certain that these are not our trucks, their owners definitely do not consist in the CR,” says Andrei Bazhutin, chairman of the association of Russian carriers (OPR). - Now we are considering two options: either it was radically configured strikers set fire to the carcasses of strategrachers, because the protesters reached the extreme point, and their patience burst. Or it burned the cars of quiet participants in the strike - our like -minded people who support us, but not protesting openly. Then this is an attempt to intimidate us.
The truckers from the ODR, from March 27, continuing an unlimited strike against the Plato system, were learned from the Internet and with a delay: after 3-4 days.
“On April 18–19, in our groups on social networks, eyewitnesses threw us photos and videos of two fires,” said Sergey Vladimirov, coordinator of the St. Petersburg OPR. - The comments on the video and the photo contains the most different information. However, no matter how conventional it is, everyone is inclined to the fact that it was arson, and they, one way or another, are associated with protest. Also, through social networks, we learned that a similar case a few days earlier occurred on the Tallinn highway in St. Petersburg, allegedly several cars burned, we check this information.

“Having received messages, photos, videos, on April 19, we went to the scene,” adds the driver-triber (member of the OPR) Alexei Rachkov. - On Shuvalovsky Prospekt they did not find anything at all. On the Moscow highway, 68, with difficulty, but found the skeletons of four burnt trucks. Their owners were not found.
In the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in St. Petersburg, Novye confirmed two facts of fires and clarified the details:
“About 3.15 on the night of April 15, a signal was received about two burning dump trucks on Shuvalovsky Prospekt near house No. 55,” said Andrei Litovka, head of the information support service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies, “they were stewed about two hours. And at about 2 a.m. on April 16, four trucks on the Moscow highway, 68, lit up. All combustible units burned in four nearby trucks. The fire was liquidated at about 4 in the morning. Fortunately, none of the people were injured in either case. Materials on both incidents are transferred for investigation by the investigators of the Ministry of Emergencies.
Fire interrogators still find out the exact causes of the fire. But, according to preliminary data, while the main version of experts is arson. In addition, for example, eyewitnesses to the fire on 55 Shuvalovsky Prospekt, believe that before the fire flashed, the cotton rang out, and the cars began to burn with the cabs. Eyewitnesses of the incident on the Moscow highway 68 are also said about the same thing: according to them, all four cars caught fire from cabs and almost simultaneously.

Check all the information, get the results of the examinations and give final answers to the Ministry of Emergencies should by April 25–26. If arson is proven, then the materials will be transferred to the investigating authorities to initiate criminal cases. True, the inquiry officers are already warning that these crimes have almost no chance of being disclosed: fires happened in deserted places, at night, where there are no video surveillance cameras, traces at the scene, if they were destroyed by fire.
