The doctoral dissertation on the history of the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky will be sent to the dissertation council on history under the Belgorod State National Research University. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the member of the Presidium of the Higher Certification Commission (Higher Attestation Commission) of Mikhail Gelfand.

According to Gelfand, the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission for History made such a proposal, and the Presidium supported it.

As indicated on the BelSU website, the university has only one dissent on the profile of the dissertation of the Medinsky "domestic history" under the number D 212.015.11.
