On April 21, public defenders Vera Lavreshina and Felix Shvedovsky were not allowed to see political prisoner Boris Stomakhin in the colony. This was reported to OVD-Info by Nadir Fatov.
Human rights activist Gleb Edelev clarified on Facebook that they were not let through “despite the permission resolution of the head of the colony and the passes issued in their name. The formal basis for non-admission is that the colony staff could not find an escort for them inside the closed zone. However, they did not go in vain. For Boris, a transfer was collected, to which he, being in the EPKT, has the right to once every six months.
Boris Stomakhin was sentenced to a total of 7 years in prison for publishing on the Internet.
