"Secret Materials" extended for another season

In 2017-2018, another season of the series “Secret Materials”, which will include ten new episodes, will be released - such a decision was made by the FOX film company, reports Hollywood Reporter .

The main roles in the series will be played by David Dutins and Gillian Andersen, who played Fox Mulder and Dan Scully in past seasons. The executive producer and creator of the series Chris Carter also remained in the crew.

The series "Secret Materials", telling about the investigations of paranormal phenomena by two agents of the FBI Fox Malder and Dana Scully, was released from 1993 to 2002.

In early 2016, Fox decided to release another, tenth in a row, a season of six episodes. The revival of the series was well met by criticism and fans, it became one of the most successful television projects of the year.
