The Investigative Committee of Russia doubted the involvement of the Islamic State in firing at the FSB reception in Khabarovsk. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.
According to the official representative of the UK Svetlana Petrenko, "the investigation has no reason confirming the connection of the attacker with the international terrorist organization that allegedly attributed this crime."
“The data obtained at the moment allow the investigation to believe that the crime is committed by a adherent of neo -Nazi views, who professes hatred of people of other nationalities,” the website of the department notes.

The attack became known at 12:20 in Moscow (19.20 in Khabarovsk). It was reported that the young man went into the reception room and opened fire. As a result of the shooting, an FSB officer and one of two visitors, natives of Central Asia died.
According to the FSB, the attacked was Anton Konev born in 1999. The young man was associated with the neo -Nazi group "Stolz". It contains about 15 people 17–20 years old, considering themselves “fighters for morality” and against illegal migration.
Konev stole the weapon in the local rifle club Hammer, having previously killed the instructor.
