The branch in Voronezh operates in a dilapidated building where no one has lived for a long time.

Voronezh resident Roman Romantsov published a video about the local branch of Russian Post, which is located in an abandoned building. According to him, the house has already been designated for demolition five months ago: the residents moved out, and the remaining things were taken by looters and homeless people.

In the comments under the video, one of the users introduced himself as an employee of Russian Post and asked the author to name the branch code, date and time of filming.

As Romantsov told TJ, none of the company representatives contacted him. He added that the post office building is one of the oldest in Voronezh and was built in the early 50s.

The building and about 20 others nearby were included in the program for relocating people from dilapidated and dilapidated housing at the beginning of 2015, since the block is really old.

The management of Russian Post was obliged to take measures for the safety of employees and visitors. The building has been in this condition for more than five months.

The press service of Russian Post, in a conversation with TJ, confirmed that the branch is “under the special control of the branch management.” The company explained that on April 25, employees will stop working and move to another building.

Currently, the premises of this post office are in federal ownership and under the economic management of the enterprise. Measures to release federal real estate located in residential buildings subject to eviction and demolition are carried out in accordance with current legislation.
