It is noted that the 36-year-old Peter Levashov, also known as Peter North and Sergey Astakhov, charged with episodes of intentional causing damage to the secure computer, obtaining access to secure computers as a result of fraudulent actions, fraud using electronic communications, and threats for damage to the secure computer, and the survival of personal data with inhabitants circumstances, criminal conspiracy, as well as two facts of fraud with e -mail.
The investigation is conducted by the FBI units of New Hayven and Anchorija. The accusation is supported by US prosecutor's assistants Vanessa Richards and David Juan. At the same time, the message does not mention Levashov’s connection with cyber attacks on the American electoral system.
The US Ministry of Justice will seek Levashov's extradition from Spain.
