YouTube deleted video about Navalny-Hitler

The video “Hitler 1945 / Navalny 2018 – WE CAN REPEAT!”, in which opposition leader Alexei Navalny is compared to Adolf Hitler, has been removed from YouTube with the wording “because of a statement of copyright infringement.” This was reported by the TV channel "Rain".

The application was submitted by the user Inokentii Traktorist (spelling preserved), on whose channel only one video was uploaded. Dozhd notes that video blogger Eldar Dzharakhov from the Successful Group project uses the pseudonym Innokenty Tractor Driver. It is not known whether he is associated with the account that claimed the violation of rights in the video about Navalny.

Update. A representative of Dzharakhov denied his connection with the creation of the video and subsequent deletion.

The video appeared on YouTube on April 19, the day after Dozhd spoke about the decision of the Russian presidential administration to launch a campaign to discredit Navalny, including through videos. “They are fighting about like with Hitler,” the channel’s source said.

According to Dozhd's sources, the video was filmed by Agency One, an agency associated with the Mikhailov & Partners consulting company, which was allegedly instructed to start a campaign to discredit Navalny. Agency One has already filmed pro-Kremlin videos, including the 2012 video “Russia without Putin,” Dozhd reports. The head of the agency, Ilya Filin, said that it had nothing to do with the video about Navalny.
