Organizers of a rally against Plato were detained in Irkutsk

The organizers of the rally against "Platon" from the Association of Road Carriers of the Angara Region were detained, as a result, the action agreed with the administration did not take place. This was reported on April 22 by IA BaikalPost.

The rally began at the planned location - on Traktovaya Street, but the cars could only reach Mayakovsky or Sergeev streets. The head of the association, Alexander Chernykh, was detained on Oleg Koshevoy Street for having a sticker against Platon on his car. He was taken to the police department in Second Irkutsk. Two or three more people were also detained, among them Sergey Khmelev, who participated in an unauthorized motor rally on April 1 and was fined 10,000 rubles for this. Khmelev was driving in a car with flags of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Green Russia and ODA stickers. The detainees were released from the police departments, there is no information about the protocols being drawn up yet.

An employee of the administration of Irkutsk clarified for the publication that the rally was supposed to take place without symbols, including without symbols of political parties.
