Melanshon leads among voters in the overseas territories of France

France presidential candidate, leader of the left-wing movement "Fearless France" by Jean-Luke Melanshon is gaining the largest number of votes in three overseas territories of France, the Belgian RTBF television company reports.

Voting in the overseas territories of France (in Saint-Pierre and Michelon, Martinic and Guiana) located in the Western Hemisphere, due to the difference in time zones, took place on Saturday. The results should be announced only after the closure of all polling stations, but legislators cannot extend this restriction to foreign media, which the Belgians took advantage of.

The melanchon focuses on the environment, opposes many global associations - NATO, G8 and G20.

According to the channel, 34.45%of voters voted on Saint -Pire and Michelon for Melanchon, Marine Le Pen - 18.16%, for the ex -minister of economics, Macron - 17.97%, RIA Novosti reports.

Melanshon gains 27.36%on Martinika, Macron - 25.53%, candidate from the Republican party, Francois Fiion - 16.85%.

In Guiana, Melanshon leads with 24.72%of the vote, in Le Pen - 24.29%, Macron - 18.75%.

In Guadelup, Macron captured the first place (30.32%), and the melanchon scored 24%.

Around 17:00 in Moscow, RTBF published the data of ectalov regulations that passed in the morning. According to these data, 24%voted for Macron, 22%for Le Pen, for the candidate from the Republican party, Francois Fiion - 20.5%, 18%for melanchon.

The head of the "Frightened France" movement burst into the number of leaders of the presidential race in the last weeks of the campaign. He made the greatest impression on voters during the debate on April 4 - then in support of the candidate from the radical left -wing, the largest number of those who watched this election show - 25%. Nevertheless, among the four favorites of the race, as polls show, he has less chance of going out on the second round.

According to the survey, published on the eve of the Opinionway sociological service, the leadership in the ranking of candidates retain Macron (they can gain 23%of the vote in the first round, according to other sources - up to 26%) and Marin Le Pen (22%). The chances of access to the second round are also preserved by Fiion (20%) and the leader of the “frightened France” by Jean-Luke Melanshon (19%). At the same time, in the second round, according to the study, Le Pen is inferior to both Macron and Fiion.

The elections of the new president are held in France in an atmosphere of an unprecedentedly high level of terrorist danger. Last week, two people who planned terrorist attacks during the election were arrested in Marseille. And on April 20, the 39 -year -old Frenchman opened fire on the policemen on the Champs Elysees - the main street of Paris.

Polling stations in large cities will work until 20 hours in Parisian time (21:00 in Moscow). It is expected that the first official preliminary results will be known before midnight.
