Svetlana Novoselova, a participant in an opposition walk, who was detained on Red Square, was released from the Kitai-Gorod police department.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against Novoselova under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of a public event of the procedure for holding it).
During the arrest, Svetlana Novoselova's hand was injured, and an ambulance came to the police department. In connection with this, Novoselova's defender wrote a statement about the police exceeding their official powers during the detention of her client. After Novoselova was released, she went to the emergency room to remove the beatings. Doctors diagnosed Novoselova with a dislocation of the arm.
