A truck driver detained in Voronezh spent the night in police custody; he is now in court

Vitaly Sychikhin , who was detained in Voronezh on April 22, spent the night of April 22-23 at the police station. At the moment, his case is being heard by the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Voronezh. At the same time, none of the activists who came to support Sychikhin were allowed to attend the hearing.

According to Pavel Enyakin, coordinator of the Association of Carriers of Russia in Voronezh, a protocol was drawn up against Vitaly Sychikhin under Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation). Sychikhin is a citizen of Belarus, but lives in Russia.
