Two detained defenders of the Krylatsky Hills park remain in police custody pending trial

Two detained defenders of the Krylatsky Hills park, Denis Parusov and Eduard Zinoviev, who were on the morning of April 23, are left at the Krylatskoye police station for 48 hours before the court session. Protocols were drawn up for both cases under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer).

At the moment, the police are deciding what to do with the third detainee, Sergei Ignatiev. He is a member of the election commission with the right to vote, which is why, according to the law, he cannot be subjected to administrative penalties imposed in court without the consent of the prosecutor of the subject.

Sergey Ignatiev, Denis Parusov and Eduard Zinoviev were detained on the morning of April 23 during a meeting of residents of the Krylatskoye district in defense of the Krylatsky Hills park. At 12 o'clock in the park opposite the Anna Akhmatova Library at 34, Krylatsky Hills, a meeting was to be held with State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Valery Rashkin, but he did not come. Instead, another State Duma deputy from the Communist Party faction Vladimir Pozdnyakov arrived, who from the stage asked the residents to submit written applications to the deputies. The police then demanded that the citizens stop the "inconsistent event", but the residents refused to leave, saying that they were walking in the park. After 20 minutes, the police began to detain the meeting participants.
