Meanwhile, the head of the self -proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, Igor Plotnitsky, called on the OSCE to coordinate his routes with the power structures of the LPR. He also expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. “After all, human life is the greatest value, therefore, the safety of people cannot be neglected,” Plotnitsky noted. According to him, such incidents show how important it is to "work in agreement and be prepared for any provocations." “This explosion not only carried away a person’s life, but also put the whole republic under attack. We perfectly understand who does this and why, but we will not succumb to provocations and will never answer the same, ”the head of the republic promised.
In turn, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR, Natalya Nikonorova, said that Ukraine needs to refrain from speculation on the tragedy. She called the possible attempts of Kyiv to raise questions about the introduction of the OSCE police mission in the Donbass or the transfer of control over the border of Ukraine and added that this would show “Kyiv’s readiness to go to any provocations for the escalation of the conflict and attract the third parties.”
The representative of the LPR Vladislav Deynoy made a statement that currently the territories adjacent to the place of undermining the OSCE car are fired by the Ukrainian army. In his opinion, this means that Ukraine wants to interfere with investigative actions. Nevertheless, an operational-investigation group from among the employees of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR is working at the scene.
The representative of the LPR in the political subgroup of the contact group to resolve the situation in the east of Ukraine Rodion Miroshnik believes that the car was undermined by the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in order to again "raise the issue of introducing an armed international mission into the Donbass." “Demolation of the OSCE mission is an unprecedented step from the armed groups of Kyiv, cynically violating the immunity of international observers and trampting the norms of international law. Official Kyiv also responded to the tragedy. So, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called for to find and punish guilty in the blow. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased OSCE employee. “It is necessary to carefully investigate the tragedy with the OSCE SMM car in the occupied territory and ensure the safety of SMM and freedom of action in accordance with the mandate,” he said.
