The vocational training center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Murmansk region held role-playing games "Antiterror-2017". This was reported on the website of the department.
The game was attended by five teams from various colleges and universities in the region. The department calls its goal teaching young people “to act correctly in cases of a threat of a terrorist act” and to identify “facts of extremist propaganda.”
At the first stage of the game - "Underground" - students had to look for images of an extremist nature on the walls in the corridor. The “Student Audience” stage consisted in searching for an “explosive device” and working out actions when it was discovered, and the “Library” stage consisted in searching for extremist statements in texts allegedly forgotten by someone in the student library.
At the “Home” stage, students searched for extremist content on the pages of acquaintances on social networks, and the “Railway Station” stage consisted of searching for a “suicide bomber” in the waiting room.
The game was initiated, among other things, by the Center for Combating Extremism.
