In 2016, the Kazan poetess and singer, members of the group “So beautifully dark” Aigel Gaysina, published a book of poems “The Court”, which were written after the clash of its author with the system of Russian justice. The 1190 album recorded by Aigel Gaysina along with the electronic musician Ilya Barayy , a participant in the "Christmas toys" and "the largest number" , is spinning around the same topics - around the fate and prison, from which, according to the Russian proverb, you can not renounce. 1190 days are an unreasonable prison term. The poems of Aigel Gaysina rush between the bad sleep and the bad reality, between the symbolism and the technique of “verbatim”, between the reports from the courtroom and the prison lyrics. The joint musical and poetic work of Aigel Gaysina and Ilya Bararamia-these are not quite poems for a weighty minimalistic bit and not quite a song, although the Kazan poet sings and reads better than many Russian singers and rappers. This is an original synthetic genre that you have not heard and from which the “scratches” at heart:

Once, between 2015 and 2016, I had a rather thick, gloomy and painful cycle of poems called “The Court”, it was appreciated by Dmitry Bykov, who himself was familiar with this topic firsthand, he suggested collecting a book around the cycle and advised it to the Helicon+Publishing House. The book came out, and I am very grateful to both Dmitry Lvovich and Gelikon. In the meantime, it was published, I wanted these texts to sound. I really liked the projects and collaborations of Ilya Baray and “Christmas toys”, and I thought that such a minimalist, hard, industrial, but at the same time dynamic sound is perfect. What is needed for texts. I sent him a cycle, and he agreed to try.

The rejection reaction will be strong.

From what we worked on the next six months, almost nothing was included in the album. It was annoying that these were still poems laid to music, that they did not grow together and sound with songs, he said that there was not enough Fanca. On one of the long nightly winter trips to the village of Severny, I was half -hot under the bite of Ilya invented the first text, which was specifically written under the bit, and not adapted and not pulled on it; It was the song "Bride". After the “bride”, at least 10 strange songs spilled out of me, this genre turned out to be incredibly therapeutic. In principle, I did not imagine myself in such a role, but then Kaifannu, I survived the catharsis, everything that was rejected was torn off, everything that was objectified was objectified. I treat the album as a literary work, to some terrible book of Victor Hugo, which does not interfere with reading, but you will think a hundred times before re-read.

My favorite group at the time of writing “1190” is Run The Jewels . She really influenced. I like the way they used old -time quality and jumping, while modern rhythm and production, bypassing obvious stamps. I wanted the album to sound hard and stinging, a little rude and simple. It seems to me that in the concert sound these songs will sound cool.
