The prosecution asks to sentence Dmitry Demushkin to two and a half years in prison

Today, April 25, during the debate of the parties, the prosecutor asked the Nagatinsky court to sentence nationalist Dmitry Demushkin to two and a half years in a penal colony, accused of inciting hatred and enmity using the Internet.

This is reported by RAPSI with reference to the lawyer Oleg Kolesnikov, who represents the interests of Demushkin in the criminal process.

“During the investigation of the case, it was established that in October 2014 Demushkin posted two extremist graphic images in open access on his page on one of the social networks on the Internet in order to incite hatred and enmity towards a certain group of people. According to the agency, these actions constitute a crime under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity)," the Moscow prosecutor's office quoted RAPSI as saying.
