The Ministry of Justice recognized the extremist joke of Maddison about the Qur'an

The Ministry of Justice included in the register of extremist materials the video “Joke about the Qur'an”. On it, the video blogger Ilya Davydov (Maddison) in 2012 from the stage talked about how he bought the Qur'an and went to read it to the toilet.

The video was placed in the register of prohibited materials at number 4086. It is noted that the decision to recognize the video by extremist material was made on February 22, 2017 by the Zavodsky District Court of Grozny.

At the beginning of 2017, the blogger began to act as a joke, after which he deleted all his accounts on social networks and disappeared. Later, on February 13, the Chechnya prosecutor’s office announced the initiation of a criminal case against Maddison, but soon the information about the case was deleted from the site.
