Moscow police calls for residents of the capital not to participate in the action "Tired"

Open Russia failed to agree with the Moscow authorities the venue. The organizers of the event demand from the President of the Russian Federation not to nominate their candidacy in the next election.

The Moscow police called on residents of the city not to participate in the opposition planned on April 29. “The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs convincingly asks Muscovites and guests of the capital to refrain from participating in an inconsistent public event on the Slavic Square in the Ilyinsky Square and Ilyinka Street on April 29,” the capital police, published on April 25 on the Internet page of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.

The police officially entrusted the responsibility for ensuring security at the event, including the organizers of the action.

On April 29, the All -Russian campaign was planned by the Open Russia movement. The organizers of the event intend to demand from the President of the Russian Federation “compliance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, in particular, the principle of replacement of power”. The goal of the organizers is to achieve from Vladimir Putin to refuse to nominate his candidacy in the 2018 presidential election. To do this, activists of the movement have developed forms and instructions for sending official letters, which will be proposed to fill out the participants of the action.

The organizers of the action in Moscow failed to agree with the authorities on the place of its holding. The city’s city hall was proposed to transfer from Slavyanskaya Square to Sakharov Avenue. In response, the coordinator of Open Russia, Maria Baronova, sent a letter to the Moscow authorities, where she said that the action did not require approval, so it will be held in the place planned by the organizers.
