In Moscow, a rally is being prepared against a housing renovation program. This was reported on the FB page of the action. A notification on Wednesday was filed to the metropolitan city hall of the party activist on December 5, Julia Galyamina and journalist Ekaterina Vinokurova.

The action is supposed to be held on May 14 on Sakharov Avenue.

On Thursday, Galyamin wrote that she was cut by the tires by car. “I am sure that because of the rally against the demolition of Moscow,” she said.

The bill on the renovation of the Moscow five -story buildings, which was adopted in the first reading, introduced to the State Duma of the capital's mayor, suggests that the residents will be relocated to their area or to the neighboring district. Several different rules are established for residents of the Central District and New Moscow - they are allowed to resettle to other areas within their districts.

It is also established that the decision on the demolition of the house can be made only with the consent of most residents. On the other hand, the law against the residents who opposed, the law does not give the right to appeal the decision to demolish in court. It is assumed that in the courts it will be possible to consider only disputes about the equivalence of the new apartment of the former.

Along with this, the document admits a retreat from housing, urban planning and land legislation during construction on a vacant place in the renovation zone.

The bill caused the indignation of Muscovites, since demolition can affect not only emergency and dilapidated houses and there is a threat that the residents will be resumed forcibly.

On Wednesday, at a meeting with government members dedicated to the housing renovation program in the capital, Vladimir Putin promised not to sign the law on the resettlement of five -story buildings in Moscow if the rights of citizens are violated. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin at this meeting stated that by the second reading, an amendment would be made to the bill that provides citizens with housing in the areas in which they live if they themselves do not want to move to another.
