"So: you are fake riot police"

Lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina told Medusa what is happening with the “March 26 case” by Stanislav Zimovs.

On April 13, it became known that the Investigative Committee detained four people who are accused of applying violence against a representative of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). There is little information about each of the detainees. Medusa spoke with lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina, who from April 24 represents the interests of one of them - Stanislav Zimovts. Sidorkina said that Zimovets gave a confession, succumbing to the persuasion of a lawyer for their intended purpose, and now she wants to abandon them, but is unlikely to be able to do this at the investigation - it can be completed, lasting only a few weeks.

According to the Investigative Committee, Stanislav Zimmovets at the anti -corruption action on March 26 threw a brick in the back of an employee of the Russian Guard, “after that he disappeared into the crowd, changed into a conspiracy, hid his jacket in a backpack, took out a traumatic gun and returned to the scene, continuing to provoke those present to illegal actions.” The winter -man himself on his page on VKontakte wrote that on March 26 he “rang out on Tverskaya” and “riot police drove”. He was arrested for two months on March 30, while the UK announced his arrest only on April 13. Zimovets is accused of applying violence against a representative of the authorities under part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (up to five years in prison).

They immediately said about Stanislav Zimovts that he was a football fan. But this is not so. He himself is from the city of the Volzhsky Volgograd region. He graduated from four courses of the Faculty of Economics of Volgograd University - he did not finish his studies, because there was no money to continue his studies. He came to Moscow to work - he repaired apartments. Before the detention, he lived in the capital for a month and a half.

March 26 was his first and only day off in all this time. The weather was good that day, and she and his friends decided to take a walk in the center of the city, take a picture. They had no money somewhere else. They agreed to meet with the Russia cinema, but in the end, friends did not come. Stanislav went towards the metro, and there the detention of people riot police just began. Zimovets told me that he was desperate that he could not help these people, that he was outraged by detentions, could not believe that police officers could do this - as a result, he grabbed a brick and threw it towards the crowd. Stanislav did not expect that the brick would fall into someone, but as a result, “a fragment of brick fell into the back of the deputy commander of the battalion riot police to the police colonel Kotenev V.N.”, as it was written in the protocol.

For the first time, the winterbeat was detained for promotions [March 26], an administrative protocol was drawn up to him - it was attracted under Article 20.2 of Part 5 ( violation of the procedure for holding a rally ) and immediately released.

And on March 30, Sobr came to the house, where Stanislav lived all this time and detained him. Apparently, by that time, people who can be attracted by the video were being calculated. He was taken to the police department, began to carry out investigative actions, gave the appointed lawyer - he participated in all investigative actions.

To my question, whether someone explained his rights to him, including his right to make a call, he said that he himself knew about this and asked the investigators to call his relatives, but they replied that they themselves would inform, where he was. But no one called relatives, including the lawyer for their intended purpose. All this time, the winter natives did not know where he was, in the production of which investigator is the case and how he can be helped, and how he can be seen.

When it was closed on March 30, searches were held at the place of registration in the Volgograd region. Police officers came to the relatives of Stanislav - only they learned from them that the Zimovets was detained. But where he sits and who leads his business was unknown. Relatives were in despair, they phoned half-Moscow in his search, almost all of the city police department. They wrote about this social networks and turned to public organizations that have already reached me. I, learning about everything, went to relatives and informed them that I was ready to help.

The peculiarity of this case lies in the fact that the investigative actions were carried out too intensively. Stanislav was taken out of the pre -trial detention center at six in the morning and brought back late at night. At the same time, in the UK, he sat until dinner, up to two to three hours in the afternoon, and waited for the start of interrogation. These days, he was very exhausted morally and physically, did not get enough sleep, sat hungry (there was only a dry ration with him, from which his stomach was sick) - in this state he was forced to participate in investigative actions. Zimovets said that he told the lawyer and investigators that he was tired, cannot participate in investigative actions, cannot figure out what documents are given to him to sign.

Stanislav gave a confession. He is charged with part 1 of Article 318 - "The application of violence against a police officer." He said that he admitted that he had abandoned the brick. And he even asked for forgiveness from a police officer - at a confrontation. Then he told him that he did this not on purpose, but from despair. Zimovets said that he served in Chechnya and saw how real riot police behaved. “So: you are fake riot police,” Stanislav said to an employee of the police.

As a result, Stanislav refused the services of an appointed lawyer - she made several gross violations. I will not voice them all, but when the lawyer convinces his client to agree to the case of the case in a special manner and to the dacha, this raises questions. With a special manner, after all, evidence in the case is not investigated, but only characterizing materials. And then it is impossible to appeal this. After all, the fact that he threw a brick can be qualified differently-not only as an attack on a policeman.

Stanislav wrote a complaint about the actions of the investigator - even despite the fact that he was in full isolation - and wrote a statement about the admission of me as a defender on April 24.

I think that investigators will do everything to prevent me from allowing me to do at the investigation stage. I suppose, but I’m not completely sure that the winter -man has already signed a document on the end of investigative actions, that is, his case has already been sent to approve the indictment to the Prosecutor General.

Stanislav told me that he had recently read George Orwell’s novel “1984”. According to him, "the same thing happens in our country." He knows Navalny, watched a film about Medvedev, but is not a supporter of Alexei. I would say that Zimovets is a person who is not indifferent to the situation in the country. He says that he does not adhere to any certain views, he simply stands for a fair society and observing constitutional rights.
