In Tyumen, on April 26, truckers protesting against the Platon system were invited by telephone to appear at the Central District Court at 5 p.m. the same day. When the truckers came to court, they were handed subpoenas, accusing them of violating the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picket (under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The court session was supposed to take place on April 26, but in court the drivers were issued a summons for a new date. This is reported by the news portal of Tyumen ng72.ru with reference to the chairman of the association of truckers of the Tyumen region Vladimir Ardashov.
“They want to apply an article against us that we are somehow holding a rally in the wrong way. What are we talking about? We don't even have any posters. So we continue to be pressured. We are ready to do everything so that we leave from there, ”Ardashov told the publication.
The Tyumen blogger of the iShelest channel, who, together with the camera, wanted to get into court with truckers, the court staff began to ask why he “brought the public there.”
“In general, they always behave very interestingly. When you enter the office, the first thing we are told is: "turn off the phones, you will record our conversations." We ourselves cannot understand why such an attitude,” said Vladimir Ardashov.
