The Russian intelligence ship of the Black Sea Fleet sank not far from the Bosphorus, the entire crew was saved. This was reported to the Ministry of Defense, reports Interfax . The ministry did not specify exactly how exactly a person saved.
“All members of the crew of the Liman of the Black Sea Fleet of the Black Sea Fleet are alive, healthy, and are currently preparing to evacuate from the Turkish rescue ship to the Russian ship,” the ministry added.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the reports of the “Western media” about the missing members of the crew of “Liman” are not true. The ship itself sank after the hole received in the right side below the waterline.
Earlier, the ministry reported that Liman was faced with another ship called “Ashot-7”, the belonging of which is specified. The collision occurred 40 kilometers northwest of the Bosphorus. According to Reuters , “Ashot-7” went under the flag of that, and 78 people saved from the “estuary”.
The GAC ship operator called the collision of ships fog.
"Liman" is equipped with a hydroacoustic complex, as well as equipment for radio engineering and radio intelligence. In January, the ship returned from the Mediterranean Sea, where he performed tasks as part of a constant operational connection of the Russian Navy.
