The organizers of the opposition procession on the anniversary of the demonstration on May 6, under pressure from the Moscow City Hall, abandoned plans to hold a march and will limit themselves to a rally on Sakharov Avenue. On Thursday evening, one of the members of the Organizing Committee, the editor -in -chief of the "Daily Journal", Alexander Ryklin, reported this on Thursday evening.
The start of the rally at 13 o’clock, the collection of participants will begin at noon.
As RBC reported with reference to another organizer - the ex -deputy of the State Duma, the former member of the "Just Russia" Gennady Gudkov, - the working name of the event - "Against arbitrariness and repression." “The topic of the rally is on May 6 five years ago, and those repressions that are going on today, and attacks, and the murder of Boris Nemtsov, and the creation of dragon conditions for the current opposition,” Gudkov said.
The event is organized by the Committee of Protest Affairs, Parnassus, Yabloko and other structures. The notification filed at the City Hall on Monday declared the same march route as in 2012 - from the Oktyabrskaya metro to Bolotnaya Square. At the end of the march, it was supposed to arrange a rally. Two alternative routes were also proposed - with the collection of participants at the end of a large clearing or big horde. The final point of both, however, was also swamp.
The Committee of protest actions repeatedly made concessions to the metropolitan officials, changing the route and format of the declared shares or completely refusing to hold them after refusal to agree.
