Two girls detained in Kazan are left to spend the night at the police station

Activists Daria Kulakova and Laysan Ismagilova, who were detained in Kazan at the reception of the President of Russia, are left overnight in police department No. 16 until a court hearing on their administrative cases. Previously, Kulakova was taken to the hospital from the police department , but now she was brought back.

Protocols were drawn up against Kulakova under two articles of the Administrative Code - 19.3 (disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer) and 20.2 (violation of the established procedure for holding a public event), against Ismagilova only under article 20.2 of the Administrative Code.

At the moment, public defenders are not allowed to see the detainees at the police station, the police refuse to accept packages with water and food for the detainees.
