Classes on the May Day actions occurred in Kherson

In Kherson, clashes of supporters of left -wing forces with pro -Ukrainian activists took place on the May Day actions. It is reported by Ukrinform.

About 50 supporters of the left came to the Square of the Heroes. Demonstrators held red flags, banners and posters with slogans against the ATO in the Donbass and against raising communal tariffs. At the other end of the square, about 60 pro -Ukrainian activists gathered: members of the "Right Sector" and other organizations, former participants in the ATO. Between the parties, which rally at the same time, a skirmish began, which grew into a fight. The police intervened in the situation and stopped a clash.

Later, in the Kherson Park of Glory, another rally of the left at the monument to the unknown soldier took place, which also came to representatives of pro -Ukrainian organizations - about 150 people gathered in the park. Here, too, a fight began, which the police shouted.

Left organizations also planned to go through Kherson with a procession, but in the end they did not conduct a demonstration.

Less large -scale clashes occurred at the May Day actions in other cities of Ukraine. In Kharkov, at a demonstration with the participation of about a hundred people, the pro -Ukrainian activist broke the poster to one of the participants, and he hit him on the head. The patriots tried to prevent the demonstrators from laying flowers to the monument to the first Kharkov Maevka, but then they allowed this to be done under state flags. In addition, according to the Kharkov Police, the unknown was spit from a pepper can in the face of the leader of one of the political parties.

At a rally in Vinnitsa, about 20 young people tried to pull out flags from the hands of the participants. The police pushed opponents of the rally from the venue.

On the eve of the next anniversary of the fire in the house of trade unions, the tension in Odessa intensified. According to the website of the regional department of the National Police, in the area of ​​Kulikovo field, law enforcement officers found a backpack with explosives. In the backpack lay the grenades of the F-1, RGM, RDG-2B, an simulation cartridge, an electric detonator, the fuses of the Second World War, the battery and TSH-400 TNT checker.

On the anniversary of clashes on the Kulikovo field in Odessa, the work of the National Guard and the police will be strengthened . In addition, the city will temporarily limit the traffic.
