Putin held telephone conversations with Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump praised the opportunity to meet in person during the July G20 summit in Hamburg. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kremlin.

In a telephone conversation, the heads of the two states also discussed the situation on the Korean peninsula, the fight against terrorism in Syria, and also agreed to continue contacts by phone.

Earlier, the intention to hold telephone conversations was reported by Reuters, citing the White House.

Recall that the first phone call occurred after the inauguration of the President of the United States, Putin congratulated Trump on this event. The second call took place at the initiative of the American side after the terrorist attack in the metro of St. Petersburg.
