Putin held a third conversation with Trump
US President Donald Trump talked with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the phone, the Kremlin press service reports .
The leaders of the countries discussed the coordination of actions in Syria, as well as the fight against international terrorism.
“Vladimir Putin called for restraint and a decrease in the level of tension. It is agreed to establish a joint work focused on diplomatic interchanges in a comprehensive settlement of the problem, ”the press service noted.
Putin and Trump spoke out for continuing negotiations by phone, and also supported the idea of holding a personal meeting at the G20 summit in Hamburg, which will be held on July 7–8.
In Washington, it was added that the leaders of the two countries also discussed the settlement of a “very dangerous” situation in North Korea. In general, Putin and Trump called the White House the conversation "very good."
This was the third telephone conversation of Putin with Trump since the latter entered the post of president.
