Court: those who attacked Ilya Varlamov were fined one thousand rubles each

The Industrial District Court of Stavropol fined each of the three participants in the attack on blogger Ilya Varlamov one thousand rubles, the press service of the Stavropol Regional Court told RIA Novosti.

“Sergey Pykhtin poured out a bag of flour, Ivan Goryainov doused the blogger with brilliant green on the territory of the microdistrict, Nikolay Puzanov sprinkled the blogger with flour and seasoning, they were found guilty under the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “petty hooliganism”, they were sentenced to a fine - one thousand rubles each.” ,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

In the morning, Varlamov was informed by the police that the participants in the attack were fined 500 rubles.

Earlier, the regional court confirmed that brothers Mikhail and Sergei Shevchenko received two days of administrative arrest for the first attack on Varlamov that day in Stavropol with brilliant green. In court, they stated that they were unhappy with the blogger’s statements about the neighborhood in which they live.

On April 26, Ilya Varlamov was attacked at the exit from the Stavropol airport: he was hit and doused with brilliant green, shouting : “Get off to your America!” Then the blogger reported a second attack, a white Priora with “gangster-looking people” began to ram his car, and Varlamov was also doused with brilliant green again.

Varlamov accused the construction company YugStroyInvest of organizing the attack, which denied involvement in the incident. Nevertheless, the company launched an advertising campaign “Come in green - get a discount”, the poster for which shows spots of green and characteristic curly hair; the campaign was canceled in the evening.

Blogger Ilya Varlamov is known for criticizing the authorities of the cities he visits for the level of street improvement. In the video, one of the attackers reproached him for “lisping their neighborhood.”
