2x2 will not air an episode of The Simpsons in which Homer and comic book salesman Jeff Albertson catch Pokémon in a church. This is reported by RBC with reference to the PR director of the channel Anastasia Shablovskaya.
The Pokémon scene in the church was featured in Episode 19 of Season 28 of The Simpsons. When "2×2" is going to air this season, the schedule on the channel's website is not indicated. Now "2 × 2" shows episodes from 15 and 24 seasons of the series. The premiere of the 27th season on the TV channel took place on April 14, and on May 20 it will be shown again.
“We do not show content that can compromise the channel and cause a mixed reaction in society, so we will not show this episode,” Shablovskaya said.
