On Facebook there were posts with the attached card. Why are they needed and how to make your own?

Around mid -April, posts with attached cards began to flicker on Facebook by Fredenbukes. Their authors usually ask for advice-where to go or where to find something within a certain territory. Perhaps you, like us, are interested in what kind of posts are and how to create your own.

What is this?

This function is called "Recommendations." Facebook introduced it back in October 2016, then the company said that it would slowly “roll out” the innovation.

Recommendations are needed to ask friends of advice: is it good a hairdresser? And a cafe? Is it worth going to this attraction or is it better to miss?

It works like this: the user writes a post and points to the map of interest to him (it can be both the city and the country). His friends not only write comments, but also immediately give links to the pages of the relevant institutions - at least Facebook offers them to do this.

How to make your card?

Everything is quite simple: you need to go from the computer to the Facebook.com/recommentations/ page. Facebook will show a short description of the function; To write your post, you need to click on the “ASK for Recromendations” button (“Ask recommendations” if you have a Russian -language interface).

In the future, on the same page it will be possible to watch all your posts with the search for recommendations and create new ones.
