House on the edge of Kyshtovka

This is a sensational story. How a large family fled from Germany to Russia. Parents were against the children to attend the lessons of sex education. They were fined. They did not pay. Father was even imprisoned for a day. After that, Evgeny and Louise Martens decided to return to Russia under the Compenser program. (Both of them were born in the Omsk region and left for Germany by teenagers.)

“The circular came to us from the region: finding an opportunity to accept immigrants,” says Kuzmin, a sympathetic, open. - In the middle of the winter. Ten children. In Kyshtovka, we do not have such an opportunity. Found two houses in the area. But they had to be repaired. We sent such a letter to Novosibirsk. And everything fell silent. And then I already find out from the Internet that it turns out that people live here. Baptists invited them. The community here is small, but old, from the pre -war times. They gave them the house - cold, without amenities. And when it was shown on TV, they began to blame us.

- The house was a plague. Only the detail: there were grew out of dampness on the ceiling, ”says journalist Rostislav Aliyev. “But if the Germans had not fallen into a distress, if people had not seen photos from this house, it would be a banal story.”

Aliyev was the first to write about Martens (in Odnoklassniki). He met with the German in the fall, when he came to reconnaissance. "I outlined the prospects for him." After all, he himself is a migrant - from Moscow. Eight years have arrived in Kyshtovka. Built a house here. And became the editor -in -chief of the district newspaper.

Aliyev says:

- Shukshin has such a story, "I choose a village for a residence." The person comes to the station and says: "Guys, I want to move to the village." And everyone begins to praise his own. He was not going to move anywhere, but in this way he took his soul. The same thing happened here. As soon as I said that a family from Germany was going to come to the Kyshtovsky district, people immediately began to write: “Come on to ours!” - "And our village is better!" - "Yes, look what blacksement!" In relation to the Germans, the traditionalism, which is propagandized in our country, manifested itself. They were met precisely as people in need of help.

Martens arrived in December. In minus forty -six.

“Even for us it is very cold,” admits Svetlana, a resident of Kyshtovka. - I helped what I could. A little potatoes, pickles, jam. By the New Year she wore toys. This is a lot, who has done. The German spoke very well in Russian. I met him how many times, he always greeted him so eagerly, smiled. And they smiled like that ... So I don’t even know ... Well, somehow it is friendly. Our people are gloomy. And he will see me in a bank, smiles, “hello” immediately says. There was a lot of negativity to them, a lot. "Drive the Nazis, they need them in figs." But from what point of view, for example, I do not help my neighbors? I see how they live. Why will I give them things from my child if they spoil them and throw them out? Or give a bank of tomatoes, and they will go and drink it. It’s not easy for me to give me money. And the Germans were not sorry.

“They helped not Martens, helped the children,” Aliyev explains. - Children made a very good impression on everyone. These were educated, hardworking children. For the first time I saw how the ideal large family functions. How in an ordinary family? “Well, go wash the dishes ...” And they helped them around the house, like ants.

“The youngest son even began to walk here,” Praskovya Savinova recalls. - I say: "Louise, it was not for you from a good life at ten months." He just sat, froze, thought: "Let me move." And went! Vaska was drowning a week before their arrival. Well, Vasya, their friend, Baptist.

"I accepted them as relatives"

Vasily Volkov lives with his wife and children at the outskirts. All of them have a pre -revolutionary look, as if “Russian types” have come off the postcards.

Volkov is sprinkled with quotes from the Bible. You will not immediately distinguish when he speaks from himself. It already seems that there are such verses in the Bible. How, for example, a person usually reacts to camera? “Do not take off” (at best). Or: “I am right now ...” Volkov said with the meaning: “These photos are undesirable.”

- If I were in any city, if there is a house of prayer, they will accept me as a native. And I accepted them as relatives. I did not climb to them. We arrived and left. I don’t want to add anything else, ”said Vasily. But still added: - The richest country and the most poor people. Why? In Germany (I served there) there is nothing - and at the same time the richest people.

"What to do?" I asked by stupidity. “To pray,” Volkov answered and led to the house where the martens lived. Outside, the house is like a house. In the mud, the leaf was lying. A verse from the book of the Prophet Isaiah (in German) was written out by hand.

- Correspondents for correspondents. This would all be directed to improve people's lives! - Volkov revived. - SPTU was closed, here write about it. There is nowhere to learn from the driver, on the tractor driver. Why is this done? To gather young people there, to Babylon. And what are they doing there, in the city? Debauchery. The next day, Volkov with the children went to the house of prayer - a temple for the Baptists. This is a simple village five -foot. No crosses. Inside the bench and the department. There was ten people. Of these, three grandmothers. Another man with a small child. Everyone was neatly dressed. On the legs, everyone had knitted Czechs. The preacher of about sixty said that the coming of Christ is close, that the riots are around. “They rise to the government. They joke about the president! Try to imagine this in Brezhnev times. The Lord says that this is not necessary to do that you need to pray for the government. ”

In the end, everyone prayed. Vasily prayed too. And then, probably, I went to write tickets to the forestry.

Retreat

- Martens' life would be very difficult here, because he is a person, in my opinion, unsystematic. He would inevitably have a conflict, ”says Aliyev. - In this sense, it is good that he left. This was not taken as betrayal. On the contrary, many rejoiced: "Well done, even though the kids saved!" They said: "Looks, he took up the mind." As we say about people who came out of binge. But for me it was a surprise. Especially - that they did not move to another place, but returned to Germany. I perceived Zhenya, relatively speaking, as a fighter for freedom. Because our Western, as they say, partners also have certain problems. And I probably would not have organized help if someone else arrived. And so we risk using the noble calls of people. We must be one hundred percent confident in this person. And I was sure. But at least he could say goodbye to people. Here for people to give a couple of cans of cucumbers - this is ... The Germans retreated from Kyshtovka at the end of February. Eugene said that he had gone to Germany for things, and returned with return tickets.

Victor Kuzmin explains so much the reasons for the departure of Martens.

- We have a family in the area, which children also need education under our legislation. We invited them to talk. We ask: "Well, how do you think to teach children here?" And they are very painful about this. We seem to climb into our personal lives. It alerted them. But the prosecutor’s office then, as I found out, began to send requests: what measures do you take? They did not want to give children to school. Fine. There is a family form of training. But all the same, you must attach children to some school (even this word scared them), and pass exams in the spring. For some reason, Zhenya thought that he could not certify children under ten years old.

“That is, he imagined that there is more will, more freedom. And here-Bach: it turns out, too, there is a constitution, some laws. ”

- If children do not go to school, we must call parents, fine. Like in Germany, ”says Kuzmin. - Well, just in prison they will not put us for this.

The Germans could also scare the visit of the police.

“The girl broke the collarbone,” says Praskovya Savinova. -They turned to the hospital, but we have such a law: if something with the child, they call the police. The police began to visit them, and Louise was afraid that children could take away. And they ran secretly at night.

After departure by Martens, the Prosecutor General’s Office became interested in. The region paid to immigrants 150 thousand "lifting", 15 thousand per child.

“In 2000, they called me into the army, I bought a“ dandy ”for myself. And he already had the third computer. This is wrong here. ”

- The poor are poor, the rich are rich. Why should I love and respect someone here? I do not respect, I do not like Kyshtovka at all. I do not like people here, rotten.

- Why?

- Well, Kyshtovka. A person has an ass on the body, and on the ground this point is Kyshtovka. I can’t explain this in the correct sense, but it directly breaks me from the inside. So I look at everything, and everything infuriates me. You say, you say, you write. They will come, the asses are scratched, turn around. I could not. I personally have a perception in my head that I would raise everything here. I have no education, but my mother raised me like that. And they all do not need the area on ... [FIG].

People with torches

- The main impulse from this story is an impulse of kindness. People felt noble, they liked to help, ”says Glory Aliyev. - Grandfather wrote in Odnoklassniki, in our group that there is no one to congratulate him on his birthday. Batz - one hundred calls: "Ivan Fedorovich, congratulations." The woman, oncological sick, was congratulated. I never believed in all this power of the Internet, I was amazed at her. Thanks to Eugene Martens for allowing us to be kind. And this is he alone. And if such people came here ten to twenties ...

“The trouble of these villagers,” the editor of the Pravda of the North continues, “that people gradually leave them for a certain cultural level, evacuated.” The factor evacuated here took place. They were carriers of culture, traditions. They were people with torches. After returning to Germany, Martens left under the radar. There is nothing to reliably know about their plans. According to the Austrian human rights activist, allegedly representing the interests of a large family, Martens do not want to stay in Germany and can move to the south of Russia, for example, to the Stavropol Territory.
