The administration of IK-26 in the city of Tavda forcibly removed members of the PMC from the correctional colony. this on his Facebook page Yekaterinburg human rights activist Alexei Sokolov reported .
According to him, two members of the POC, Olga Vekovishkina and Sergei Zykov, were conducting checks in the colony today in accordance with the law after reports of possible beatings. After some time, human rights activists decided to meet with several prisoners who are kept in the EPKT (a single cell-type room - “a prison within a prison”). On May 2, they applied for a personal meeting with members of the PMC. However, today the head of the colony, Sergei Zavadsky, ordered the members of the PMC to leave the colony, citing a power outage.
When the human rights activists refused to do so, the colony officers took them out of the colony using physical force. After some time, an ambulance arrived at the colony. Then additional groups of employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service began to converge on the colony.
At the moment, members of the PMC, as well as human rights activist Aleksey Sokolov, were kicked out of the car into the cold, saying that an anonymous call had been received about the bombing of their car. In fact, human rights activists have been detained.
