The student who wrote a comment about Navalny’s action was visited by Center “E”

In Vladikavkaz, on May 1, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism came to the home of a ninth-grade student who, on April 30, left a comment in one of the groups on the social network VKontakte on a publication about the protest action on June 12, announced by Alexei Navalny. Meduza reported this on May 4. Police officers called the teenager to the station to talk.

As the young man told the publication, CPE employees asked if he wrote a comment in the Vladikavkaz Today group. In this group there was a post about the rally on June 12, and he was asked what he thought about it. The teenager noted that he only wrote in the group: “Normal topic. Have to go".

According to him, the police asked him to show them his mobile phone, but the teenager refused:

“I say: I won’t give it anyway, you don’t have any papers. They answer: don’t you? Let's go to the department. Take your passports and be sure to take your phone, we are waiting for you on the street. I was scared - you never know; I took a SIM card out of my phone, blocked it with a password and took it with me,” said the young man.

At the police department, one of the CPE employees tried to conduct some kind of educational conversation with the teenager. The student was required to delete his comment and write a refutation.

“I answer - no, I don’t want to do this, it’s against my principles. “Well, maybe you can at least delete it?” I say: well, I don’t know, I’ll think about it,” said the teenager,
