The court in Samara returned to the police the materials of the case against the Communist Party activist

The Leninsky District Court of Samara returned to the police the materials of the administrative case against Communist Party of the Russian Federation activist Damir Stalin, writes Zasekin news agency.

Previously, an administrative protocol was drawn up against Stalin under Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation by the organizer of a public event of the established procedure for organizing a demonstration) as the organizer of the May Day demonstration. The police saw a violation in the fact that a group of people brought posters to the demonstration that were “not agreed upon with the organizers of the event.”

However, the court found that the protocol was drawn up incorrectly. The judge also noted that the police did not provide any documents confirming that Stalin was the organizer of the action.

The activist was detained on May 1 along with two other members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Then all the detainees were released, their passport details were copied and explanatory notes were taken.
