In accordance with the Decree of the City Hall of Novosibirsk No. 2110 dated 05.05.2017, as well as in order to organize the transition to summer operation, networks will be tested around the clock with increased pressure to identify weakened sections of pipelines. During the implementation of measures, in case of pipeline rupture, soil erosion and water outflow to the surface are possible. The last stages of testing related to the disconnection of consumers will be completed in July 2017.
During the tests, the heads of organizations and departments, directors of management companies, HOAs, and housing cooperatives were recommended to strengthen supervision over the territories, streets, inter-quarter and intra-house driveways under which the tested heating mains pass. Citizens need to prevent children from being unsupervised on the streets near heating mains, and car owners must be especially careful when driving, since in most cases heating mains pass under the roadway.
