In Moscow, a rally was held on Sakharov Avenue dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the dispersal of a protest campaign in Bolotnaya Square. According to the "White Counter", about 3 thousand people took part in the action.
According to the correspondent of the "faces", before the start of the rally, the investigators tore off the banners posted on it "Swamp business - Russia's shame" and "Enough Putin! There is enough obscurantism! Enough war! Enough lies! Enough Kadyrov!". The security forces explained their illegal actions by the fact that such slogans seem to contradict the declared goal of the event.
One of the organizers of the action asked the scene the question to the audience whether to continue the rally in this regard. The participants answered in the affirmative.
Meanwhile, a member of the Committee on May 6, Sergei Sharov-Delon, in protest against the actions of the security forces, refused to speak.
The rally participants came out with posters and stretch marks against political repression and murders, against corruption and for democratic freedoms, in particular for honest elections and independence of the media and vessels. Nationalists launched a large banner in support of the politicalese Dmitry Demushkin.
Many demonstrators brought posters demanding to stop the pursuit of the LGBT community in Chechnya.

The organizers of the rally were the committee of protest actions, Parnassus, Yabloko and a number of other structures. Initially, on May 6 , it was supposed to hold a procession followed by a rally on Bolotnaya. In the notification submitted to the city hall, several different routes for the choice of officials were proposed to coordinate.
However, the city hall illegally refused to coordinate the procession, and the rally demanded to transfer to Sakharov Avenue. The organizers obeyed, as they repeatedly acted earlier .
