The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported a record number of participants in the “Immortal Regiment” rally in Moscow

850,000 people took part in the Immortal Regiment action in Moscow, Interfax reports, citing Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk.

Earlier, TASS was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs that the Immortal Regiment action in Moscow set a record for the number of participants. In 2016, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recalled, the Immortal Regiment gathered more than 700,000 people in Moscow.
