The Prague prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant for Vorotnikov from the Voina group

The Prague City Prosecutor's Office has issued an arrest warrant for artist Oleg Vorotnikov from the art group Voina, Aktualne.cz reports .

The prosecutor's office explained that the arrest warrant was issued because Vorotnikov failed to appear for questioning three times, and he was also not found at the residential address that he left to law enforcement agencies.

“The Chechen police are now looking for Vorotnikov. For some time, the dissident lived in the castle of the honorary chairman of the TOP 09 party, Karl Schwarzenberg, who said that the family later moved to Prague, and since that time he has not known anything about Vorotnikov,” reports Radio.cz. At the same time, on Facebook, members of “War” periodically report their whereabouts.

War / VOINA Vorotnikov, nicknamed Vor, and his wife Natalya Sokol, nicknamed Koza , were detained in September 2016, but were released on their own recognizance. For some time after this they lived in the castle of the former Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.

In November of the same year, the Czech Republic received a request from Russia to extradite Vorotnikov, who was wanted in cases of hooliganism, violence and insulting a government official. The final decision on the extradition of artists will be made by the Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic.

Vorotnikov and Sokol tried to live in Italy and Switzerland, from the latter country they were deported to the Czech Republic.
