In the Vladimir region, a native of the Czech Republic received 11 years for the murder of an ex-girlfriend who refused to reconcile

The Frunzensky District Court of Vladimir sentenced 30-year-old Prague native Stanislav Salmo, accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend, to 11 years in a maximum security colony, the prosecutor's office reports .

According to investigators, on August 7, 2016, a drunken Salmo took a knife, went to his friend’s entrance, waited for her to leave the apartment and stabbed her several times; the girl died in the entrance. It is noted that the murder occurred in the presence of the victim’s three-year-old daughter.

The prosecutor's office notes that Salmo committed the murder "due to personal hostility that arose among the convicted person in connection with the victim's repeated refusals to restore close relationships and his ignorance."

A native of the Czech Republic (citizenship not specified - MZ) was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder); the verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
