Rosneft spokesman Mikhail Leontyev in 2012 and 2013 became a co-owner of two technological companies, writes Medusa. The publication found out what these companies are doing, and how Leontiev helped them.
One of them is Skolkovo resident, Optimenga-777, which is engaged in the design of the wing for aircraft.
In 2012, it was founded by a graduate of the Tomsk State University Mehmat, Sergei Peigin and his Israeli partner Boris Epstein. A year after that, 10% of the enterprise began to own Mikhail Leontyev, and Optimenga-777 received a grant from Skolkovo about 80 million rubles.
In April 2013, writes Medusa, Leontiev became the co-founder of Agro-Marin-SSG. She designs ships that work on liquefied natural gas. Leontyeva previously also told Rain about business.
According to Leontyev himself, he received from these companies “never in life of even one penny”.
“If someone wrote me to the founders for some purposes-God is a judge. I approximately remember what is at stake, but I don’t even remember the names of these companies. How many I tried to help? I tried to help my friend make a film. Each person in life has attempts to help someone if he is not a finished bastard, ”he said to Medusa.
About Optimen, Leontiev told Medusa that he knows “these guys since childhood, they are very talented, I tried to help them, but there is no business there, unfortunately. Nobody ever loves innovators. These are all tears and moans, no word “business” is applicable to this story. ”
The main owner of Agro-Marina, indicates Medusa, British company VALSER OIL. This company, according to the Commercial Register of Great Britain, belongs to two offshores on the Marshall Islands: Pintox Systems Limited and Syten Group Limited.
Data on the directors and owners of these companies are not disclosed, the publication clarifies. In April 2017, Valser Oil announced the inclusion in the list of persons affecting the activities of the company, Valeria Suraev. This, as the Medusa, specifies, the Austrian citizen born in Russia, in the 2000s he headed the department of the fishing fleet, ports and ship repair in Rosrybolovstvo.
In 2010, the Accounts Chamber discovered fraud in the Federal Reserve with a billion rubles received in 2005 for the construction of research ships in the Far East. One of the contracts was won by the Scientific and Production Center for Industrial Fisheries (NPC).
As sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Izvestia, the NPC received 283 million rubles, but the vessels were never built until the end. According to the security forces, the real owner of the NPC is Valery Suraev, who, after checking the Federal Agency for Rosrybolov, quit the civil service and headed this company, writes Medusa.
In 2012, Suraev opened a fraud case, a year earlier, as reported by Rosbalt, Suraev received a residence permit in Estonia. At the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Medusa request was not responded about the progress of the investigation.
In 2013, the NPC in the suit of Marin-Invest (the founder of Agro-Marin-SSG) was declared bankrupt, Agro-Marin bought most of the property of the NPC for a million rubles. Leontiev, as Medusa writes, was familiar with Suraev before these events. In 2001, he made the release of the author’s program on the First Channel on the problems of the fishing fleet, and also published a column of Suraev in the journal “However”.
