
Today, May 11, in Moscow, at the age of 93, the filmmaker, writer and TV presenter Galina Shergova died.

Galina Mikhailovna Shergova was born in 1923 in Chita, since 1933 she lived in Moscow.
Since childhood, I wrote poetry, entered the Literary Institute named after A.M. Gorky. In 1943, she volunteered for the front, was an employee of the newspaper of the 5th Panzer Army, after a severe wound returned to the institute and graduated from it in 1948.
The author of poems, poems, novels, novel “Touch” (2000). For many years she worked in the magazine "Spark", in 1965 she moved to the Sound Journal "Herry Rugor" of the USSR GOSTELEDRODOM.
Since 1959, she was engaged in documentary cinema, worked with R. Carmen, E. Vermisheva, L. Derbysheva and other directors, as a screenwriter and author of the announcer text, participated in the creation of more than 200 films.
In 1957, she conducted a television portage with the closure of the World Youth and Students Festival in Moscow, since 1967 she worked in the Creative Association of the Exceress. She was the artistic director of the television series “Our Biography”, “Victory Strategy” “Independent and Legendary”, one of the authors of “Minutes of Silence” and other television programs.
