In Samara, a Communist Party activist was fined ten thousand after the May Day demonstration.

On May 11, the Leninsky District Court of Samara fined the first secretary of the Samara city committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Damir Stalin (Biktagirov) ten thousand rubles, finding him guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the organizer of a public event of the established procedure for organizing or holding it). The Zasekin agency reports this.

An administrative case was opened against Stalin due to the fact that at the May Day demonstration several people carried out posters that were “not agreed upon with the organizers of the event.” In particular, we are talking about a poster demanding the resignation of the governor of the Samara region Nikolai Merkushkin, which was carried by Damir Stalin.

In Samara on May 1, towards the end of the demonstration, columns of opposition parties came out to Kuibyshev Square. Representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation stopped in front of Governor Merkushkin and turned a large banner towards him: “Merkushkina resign! Return benefits to pensioners!”

“Hurray for Nikolai Ivanovich Merkushkin! Long live the unity of the Samara region, the unity of the country! Long live the man of labor!” the announcer shouted at that moment in the square.

After this, the police detained three activists of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation: Andrei Neretin, Denis Spirov and Damir Stalin, but they were soon released without drawing up reports.

Three days later, on May 4, Damir Stalin was summoned to the Leninsky police department, where a report was drawn up against him for violating the established procedure for organizing or holding a public event (under Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). On the same day, Stalin’s case appeared in the Leninsky District Court of Samara, but the judge decided to return the materials of the administrative case to the police due to an incorrectly drawn up protocol.
