
Rosneft threatened Essar to reduce the amount of the acquisition of 49% of the company if the Indian side will delay the issue of debts. Reuters writes about this with reference to several sources.
As the agency clarifies, six creditors of the Indian company, including the State Bank, should approve the sale of Essar. In total, they account for $ 500 million of the Essar debt.
