The Ministry of Defense required 5 billion rubles from the “daughter” of AFK Sistema

The Ministry of Defense filed a lawsuit against 4.96 billion rubles to the private defense concern of the RTI, which is part of the AFK Sistema. This was reported on the website of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

The department filed a lawsuit on May 4. The reasons and details of the case on the court website are not indicated. The RTI told Prime that they had not yet received a lawsuit.

The RTI is engaged in the creation of information means of air-space defense of ground-based base and controls the operation of missile and space defense means. In particular, he is involved in the work of a missile attack warning system.

On May 2, the claim to the “system” was filed by Rosneft and Bashneft. The amount of the requirements of companies is 106 billion rubles. The lawsuit concerned the Office of the "Bashneft" AFK "System". Rosneft spokesman Mikhail Leontyev, commenting on the lawsuit, said that "we are talking about organizational and financial manipulations that led to the depreciation of the asset for the indicated amount."

After filing, the complaint of the “System” shares fell by more than 35%. Bloomberg claimed that the lawsuit against the “system” is related to the struggle of the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The head of the AFC System Vladimir Yevtushenkov is Medvedev's ally.
