The Leninsky District Court in Cheboksary today sentenced activist Vyacheslav Rybakov to 40 hours of compulsory labor. According to the court, he violated Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure by a participant in a public event). This was reported by the portal “Idel. Realities."
Rybakov told Idel. Realities” that he was brought to justice for a picket in support of activist Elena Blinova on April 13. The picket took place near the courthouse where Blinova’s case was being heard at that time.
Elena Blinova was fined under Art. 20.29 Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of extremist materials) for reposting on her Facebook the news about the trial of the coordinator of Open Russia in Chuvashia, Dmitry Semyonov.
